Carl Mitchell

EDUCATION

Carl Mitchell has a Ph.D., in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California with majors in Theories of Personality & Mental Hygiene, and is a licensed MFT therapist in California (License #3221). He also holds a graduate degree in Theology from Pepperdine University (Malibu, CA), as well as the B.A. Degree in psychology. He holds a diploma in Italian from the University of Florence, Italy.

EXPERIENCE

He has been involved in religious and educational work in Italy for a period of eighteen years. He has been a professor of Psychology and Theology at Pepperdine for a period of twenty years; he has been a professor of Theology, Missiology and Christian Counseling at Harding University (Searcy, AR) for twenty-three years. He also served as Dean at both of the above schools. He has served as a minister in churches of Christ in California and in Arkansas. He has edited a work in Christian Psychology and a work in Christian Evidences in Italian, has written a book on The Christian Home which has been translated into Russian and Ukrainian, and has an unpublished work on Introduction to Missions. He is on the Boards of World Bible School (WBS), and The International Health Care Foundation.

PERSONAL

He has been married to his wife Frankie for 55 years, and has two sons and a daughter and eight grandchildren. He was born and raised in Santa Paula, California.
